As a three time TEFL-Certified Educator for Teaching English as well as Neurodiverse Students, I am equipped to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

For students in the Cleveland, Ohio area who opt for in-person instruction, I offer a unique, full-immersion cultural experience that transforms the city into your classroom! Beyond structured lessons, we can schedule optional field trips to places where you'll practice English in real-world, engaging situations. Imagine discussing natural history at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, analyzing art vocabulary at the Cleveland Museum of Art, learning about American heritage at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, or practicing conversational skills during a day trip to the authentic Amish Country. This approach ensures rapid language acquisition by linking your lessons directly to real American history and culture.

  • Young Learners/Kids' ESL (Ages 4-12): Focuses on foundational skills and language acquisition through engaging methods like games, songs, and Total Physical Response (TPR). Requires high energy and patience to build a positive early relationship with English.

  • Teenagers/High School Prep: Support focused on curriculum success, improving grades, and building confidence for challenging high school exams or future study abroad programs.

  • Seniors/Retirees: Focuses on practical, low-pressure conversational practice, vocabulary for travel, and gaining the confidence to communicate with family or during holidays abroad.

Struggling with one specific aspect of English? I will isolate the issue and use intensive, focused training to transform that weakness into a strength.

  • Pronunciation & Accent Reduction: Intensive work on phonetics, intonation, and rhythm to reduce your native accent and significantly improve clarity and comprehension.

  • Fluency & Conversational Confidence: Overcome hesitation! I focus heavily on spontaneous speaking practice, role-playing, and task-based learning to make English feel natural.

  • Listening Comprehension: Targeting students who struggle to understand native speakers at speed. I use authentic media like podcasts, movies, and news broadcasts to sharpen listening skills.
