Portfolio

Beyond the traditional classroom, I view education as a dynamic ecosystem where Inquiry, Agency, and Nature intersect to empower the next generation of change-makers. This portfolio serves as a curated documentation of my 'research in practice'—showcasing how I leverage neuropsychological principles and biophilic design to create bespoke learning pathways that honor the individual learner. Whether facilitating immersive, nature-based literacy in the Ohio woods, laying on our bellies on the carpeted floor of my classroom, or designing sophisticated virtual environments for global learners, my mission remains constant: to cultivate an ethical, innovative, and joyful space where students don't just absorb information, but learn to Think, Act, Relate, and Communicate with purpose.

Digital Lessons

Many students I teach/have taught, don't live in Ohio. In these cases, I have taken the opportunity to utilize my education in Online Learning through TEFL.Org, combined with my studies in psychology, and lived experiences to create virtual lessons; engaging the student with animated cartoons, incorporating their favorite hobbies in the material, incorporating props and puppets, and maintaining the understanding of how difficult it can be to learn online for certain learning styles. I provide children with video breaks of their choice, and custom reward incentives if/when they have trouble staying focused/participating. Click the button below to check out some examples:
