English With GG- Seeds of Learning into Trees of Knowledge

Welcome to English with GG!

I view every student's journey as starting with a single, powerful seed—planted the moment you book your first lesson. I am here to be your personal gardener, and my role is to create the perfect conditions for your unique growth.

Cultivating the Perfect Environment

I get to know you—what type of learner you are, your unique style, and what you genuinely enjoy. By understanding the "why" behind how you learn, I lay the strongest foundation to keep our lessons interesting and engaging.

My custom-tailored English classes are for everyone, from ages 3 to 103. I wholeheartedly welcome every unique learning style, goal, culture, and background. I believe that when we come together, we are a rainbow of possibilities.

The "Agency-First" Philosophy

My practice is built at the intersection of psychology and education. I hold an Associate of Arts in Psychology (with honors) and am currently completing my Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies at Arizona State University. These academic foundations allow me to bridge the gap between cognitive theory and practical, student-centered application.

I believe that true learning happens when a student has agency—the power to influence their own path. I don’t just teach from a book; I teach through experience, adapted to where you are:

  • For My Online Students Worldwide: I leverage digital tools to create an interactive, high-energy environment that transcends geography. Through personalized screen-sharing, digital manipulatives, and tailored communication strategies, I ensure you receive the same targeted, responsive instruction as if we were in the same room.

  • For My In-Person Students: We step beyond the traditional desk to engage the whole self. In my dedicated learning space in Maple Heights, we utilize tactile mediums like clay for phonics, sensory tools for confidence-building, and immersive local field trips to connect language directly to the world around us.

"If a student can't learn the way we teach, we must teach the way they learn."

In my dedicated learning space, we move beyond the traditional desk. Whether we are using clay as a tactile medium for phonics, using puppets to build conversational confidence, or taking immersive field trips to the zoo, gardens, or local landmarks, I ensure that no learner is excluded.

Roots for the Future

Together, we will cultivate, water, and grow that initial seed. By utilizing a nurtured, multi-sensory environment, I ensure you develop the deep roots needed to become a big, confident tree with limitless possibilities.

Let's create a space where knowledge and understanding flourish, and where every unique learning style is celebrated.
